Experience:
After a 30+year career in accounting and finance, Rebecca founded Oswego Accounting Services to provide interim accounting support to business owners and/or their CPA's for those times when high-volume demands, interim staffing vacancies, or project implementations create the need for additional help.
Throughout her career she has specialized in senior housing, real estate (development and management), and most recently healthcare in various management roles supporting accounting services, budgeting, financial forecasting and project management. She is experienced in both large ERP systems (Oracle JDEdwards and Lawson) as well as small business software such as Quickbooks and Excel spreadsheets working with small offices to large, multi-dimensional organizations.
Over the years she had held various managerial positions, from CFO of a small assisted living operation, to Regional Accounting Services manager managing payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management and budgeting for several large, multi-state companies, both "for profit" in senior retirement housing and "non-profit" in health care. During those times she often wished there was someone she could bring in for short-term or part-time work that knew her business, departments, software etc. without having to train someone new for each instance.
